It is normal for motors to make noise when used due to the vibrations of the screen’s housing, and the material the electric projector screen is attached too. However, a noisy motor can also mean another thing, it could be due to the bearings of the motor lacking in greasing or misalignment. If left untreated, it could damage the motor, and you won’t be able to roll up and down your screen. It would be best to ask for help from an expert if you want to lube the motor or align it.
